BASBOOSA Basboosa is traditional Middle Eastern sweet cake/dessert.It is one of my favourite desserts to make. It is very simple to make. It is a combination of semolina flour and some milk powder.It is also made during celebrations like Eid and weddings.Its a type of cake that you pour golden syrup ontop but mine i use condensed milk for my syrup i find it rich and more yummy!Golden syrup in my opinion i find it kinda makes the cake sloggishhhh🙄🙄.Any ways !like i said thats my opinion HAHAH! CHICKEN MISHKAKI I t is a famous East African dish. It is mostly made in Kenya and Tanzania. This dish comprises of cubes of either red meat or chicken.As for this recipe I used chicken fillet cut into cubes and used them as mishkaki.I just love the combination of different spices and brings the spicy flavoured chicken.As for this recipe we will need: Ingredients: 1kg chicken fillet cut into cubes Garam masalah Chilli powder Spanish paparika powder Salt per your taste 2tbsp Thick plain yoghurt Cumin powder Garlic cloves Ginger 1/4 tsp tumeric Green chillies 1 big green cupsicum Vinegar Skewers Directions: Blend garlic cloves,ginger, green chillies, cupsicum and vinegar into paste.
