Kashata Ya Mayai(Mathluthe)

KASHATA YA MAYAI (MATHLUTHE)

Kashata ya mayai also known as mathluthe as the arab culture call it.I personally grew up knowing its called kashata ya mayai until my friend told me about. And she even taught me how to make it.I knew this recipe from her and i have loved it ever since..Its a combination of 3 ingredients only its flourless thats the one amazing thing about it. Its a mixture of eggs, sugar and refined ghee.I hope you all love it.

This is what you will need for this recipe:

Ingredients:

1/2 kg ghee
Sugar
Eggs
1/2 tsp cardamon

Directions:

I did not indicate the measurements of sugar and eggs because I measure them according to the ghee container.
So this is how i measure,, I pour the 1/2 kg of ghee in  a pan and i use the same 1/2kg ghee container and measure the sugar and eggs aswell. They should all be the same measurement.
Mix all the ingredients.
Then put the pan on low flame and stir
You should not stop stirring until the mixture gets brown.About 30minutes
Keep stirring and as u stir the mixture will start to come together and it will turn brown.
Prepare a Flat big plate and pour the mixture.
And remove excess oil you should make sure the mixture should hold in together until cold.
As it cools the mixture comes together and stiffens up.
Cut into pieces the more cooler it becomes it becomes harder.
And there u have your mathluthe.

Inspired by my friend i hope you all like it.

Lemme know on your reviews.

Ciao!๐Ÿ˜†
