Strawberry And Chocolate Mousse Tots

STRAWBERRY AND CHOCOLATE MOUSSE TOTS

Desserts do not come much smoother than the mixture of  chocolate , cream and delicate seedless strawberry pure. This mousse is a favourite dessert and easy to make. But however you can substitute with whatever fruits are in season or per your choice.
It has layers of brownie layer, mouse layer and strawberry layer.
You can make this if you have guests coming over your place and it is the easiest dessert to make.
You can either buy brownies or you can make them at home yourself. As for me i like everything homemade i make my own brownies. It is best when you make the dessert a day before so as the cream and mousse is perfectly chilled in the refrigerator. I hope you like it please do let me know on your thoughts.

Ingredients:

Party plastic clear glass as shown in the picture.

Brownie
1/4 cup butter melted
1/8cup cocoa powder(15g)
1/2 cup flour sifted(55g)
1/2 cup sugar(100g)
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract

Mousse

6 oz semi sweet chocolate
1/2 cup heavy cream

Strawberry layer
12 oz strawberry divided

Directions:

First start by making your brownies.
Place your butter and cocoa powder in your mixer and mix on medium speed until well combined.
Then add in your flour, sugar, egg and vanilla extract to your mixer.
Make sure to scrape down the sides and all the way to the bottom of the bowl as the batter will not mix thoroughly.
Then continue to mix until all of the ingredients are combined.
Bake at 350F FOR 25 minutes

For strawberry layer

Add 3/4 of your washed strawberries to a food processor and blend until finely blended.
Add them to a sauce pan and cook them on a low simmer for 10 minutes.
Then add them to a bowl to chill. The rest of the strawberries will be used for garnish

For the chocolate mousse
Add your chocolate to your mixer then heat your heavy cream in a sauce pan until it comes to a simmer.
Do not boil your cream, add the simmering cream to your mixer and let it sit for a few minutes.
Once its sat for a bit take a ruber spatula and mix the chocolate and cream together until its smooth and fully combined.
Then let the mixture sit again until it has cooled completely. This is an important step or your chocolate mixture will not whisk together and thicken up.
You can add your mixing bowl to the refrigerator to speed up this process.
Then whisk your mixture together for about ten minutes until it becomes the texture of whipped cream then add your mousse to a pipping bag fitted with your desired tip.

Add your layers togther starting with brownies, then strawberry and lastly mousse. Garnish with a starwberry. Depending on your glass you could add multiple layers if desired.

I hope you all will love it please reach out to me and tell me how yours turned out....๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…
